Although most people probably don’t know this, we have been brewing alcohol for the past 12,000 years or so. It shouldn’t come to you as a surprise that we’ve mastered the process and now alcohol is used in every country in the world for all kinds of purposes. Besides drinking, alcohol can be used to kill microorganisms (which is what it was originally designed for).
