10 Amazing Street Art Paintings


Street painting found throughout Europe streets.  The street painter normally works with chalk or spray paint. The street painters are called Madonnari in United State, but in Italy madonnaro or madonnara , because they created images of the Madonna, and In England they are called Screevers.

In Italy a street painting festival in Grazie di Curtatone, was performed to promote street painting and in the year 2011 street painting is recognized all over the world as performance art-form.

In 1980s, Kurt Wenner invented 3D pavement art, or one-point perspective art, which appeared to be 3D if it is viewed from some specific angle.

9. Santas Grotto, Camberley, UK

Julian Beever made a surprise late in December, 2011 of this “Santas Grotto” picture in Camberley, UK. Beever is one of the most renowned 3D street art painters and he took 4 days to create one of his master pieces in chalk.

Julian Beever is an English chalk artist who has been working since mid of 1990’s. He uses a technique called projection in which the drawing on the pavement starts interacting with the viewer when viewed from a proper angle.

Normally Beever first designs his work on paper, he also Use a camera and he uses the effect of lens from the different angle, which help him in creating the picture. Beever works internationally as a freelance artist and creates wall painting for companies.

Julian Beever also published a Book Pavement Chalk Artist.

 

8. Phoenix, Michigan, USA

Edgar Muller is the third most popular 3D street artist who has created this amazing picture in Michigan, USA which is titled as “Phoenix” by Muller. The picture was created for the City Art Gallery in August 2011 and drew thousands of people with in a week who posed photographs with the artwork.

Edgar Müller was born in Mülheim( Germany ) on 10 July 1968., while he was in school He went neighboring town of Geldern, where an international competition of street painters took place. Inspired by the by the works of art which met him on his way to school, Edgar Müller take part in a competition at the age of 16 it was his first time, at the aged 19, with a copy of the famous “Jesus at Emmaus ”  In the years that followed, he entered many other international competitions.

 

7. Lego Terracotta Army

Lego Terracotta Army is another epic 3D art painting which is created by Planet Street Painting for the Sarasota Chalk Festival in November 2011. This piece of art painting won the best 3D piece of the festival, Sarasota Chalk Festival 3D LEGO Army. The relevant image is a photo from reddit of the best artwork, and it is remarkable that such a 3D drawing could be created with chalk on a street.

A group of artists from the Netherlands found inspiration in the Terracotta Army of China; they decided to give this 3D street painting a fresh twist by using Lego mini-figures instead of Chinese statues. Leon Keer is the art director, and fellow Dutchmen Remko van Schaik, Peter Westerink, and Ruben Poncia are part of the team. These Artists worked together with him to complete this amazing 3D street painting of a Lego army.

The spectacular masterpiece was produced by a group of Dutch street artists, as part of the Saratosa Chalk Festival in Florida. Artist Leon Keer, the art director of the project, said he was inspired by the iconic image of the 8,000-strong Chinese terracotta army which was first discovered in 1974 and is now one of China’s prime tourist attractions.
