One of my college profs had plane trouble over the Bermuda Triangle. He and three friends were flying and all the panes electrical instruments went down. The two non-pilots were asleep and they thought they would panic and go crazy if they knew what was going on, so they kept going.

It got so cloudy and without the instruments they weren't sure how far off the water they were, and by then they didn't have enough fuel to turn around and also weren't even sure where they were to begin with. When they came in sight of land all the electrical devices came back online and they landed safely.

The airport people came up with no explanation for why the instruments went down and refused to believe anything like that had happened. The other pilot had also thought several times that strange ships following beside them in the clouds, but they always darted away before my prof could see them, so he wasn't sure if that guy was just seeing things or not. But I know I'm never going there!
